  • Volkswagen will offer free road-side assistance and discounts on repairs to affected customer vehicles

Mumbai: Volkswagen, Europe’s leading car manufacturer has announced extended support and services for vehicles affected by the Bihar and Assam flood. Volkswagen has announced free roadside assistance and special initiatives in support of affected customers owing to the widespread destruction caused by the tropical storm

Customers in Bihar and Assam can avail the free roadside assistance by dialing 1800 102 1155 or 1800 419 1155 respectively. Under roadside assist, affected cars would be transported free of cost to the nearest Volkswagen dealer. To ensure customer support at this crucial time, Volkswagen has issued necessary repair guidelines across dealerships for a standardized repair approach and has geared-up technical support staff and parts supply chain in the region. All affected customer vehicles will also be supported with benefits on the service repair invoice by Volkswagen dealer partners in the respective cities.

The Volkswagen team is closely monitoring the status of all vehicles under repair to ensure quality repair and necessary actions.

Chennai & Mumbai: Volkswagen, Europe’s largest carmaker today announced its fourth edition of its elite Sapphire Club. Built on the principle of developing new capabilities and sustaining a strong talent pipeline, Sapphire Club is the highest recognition programme for sales consultants employed at Volkswagen India dealerships.

As part of their talent development programme, sales consultants across the county have to pass several performance metric tests that enable their entry to this distinguished club. Post certification, the candidate is recognized as a Royal Blue and Royal Blue Plus member. Both of these are first and second level platforms that identify, nurture and promote talent within the Volkswagen India dealership network.

The Royal Blue plus members then has to go through a grueling online & faceto-face evaluation process conducted by an expert panel of external professionals who in turn select the top 25 Sapphire Club members based on the candidate’s business acumen, product & process knowledge, attitude and leadership capabilities.

In the final process of evaluation, the selected candidates participate in a faceto-face interaction with an expert panel of external seasoned automotive, business and HR professionals. The initiative enables the candidates for the relevant exposure needed in this dynamically changing automotive environment.
