Mumbai: In a bid to digitalize the customer buying experience at dealerships, Volkswagen, Europe’s largest carmaker today announces the launch of ‘Digital Workplace Experience’. Under this initiative, all 121 dealerships across 104 cities will be equipped with tablet computers along with a pre-installed Digital Workplace application.

Taking a step towards digitalization, the application is an effort towards improving and transforming the sales and after-sales experience. The ‘Digital Workplace’ solution will enable consultants towards lead capturing, 360- degree view and vehicle presentation, videos, competition comparison, explore financing solutions, register test-drives and more. Further, create a customized product brochure for customers with their preferred vehicle and choice of features.

Further, enriching the after-sales experience the application allows technicians at the workshop to showcase and explain customers the entire repair work required on their vehicle. Through a 6-step procedure the customer receives timely updates via SMS about their vehicle right from the time it’s entered the workshop till its completion. At the end, the customer can make his choice of either picking up the vehicle or asking the dealership to drop their vehicle at their doorstep.

All the features of this application our installed in Volkswagen’s internal Sales Force portal, allowing dealers across the regions to reap benefits of it.

Mumbai: Volkswagen, Europe’s largest carmaker today announced the annual festive bonanza – Volksfest 2018 beginning from 15th September till end October 2018. The festival will offer customers an exciting range of benefits across all its 121 dealerships in 104 cities in India. This year, Volkswagen is celebrating 90 years of Mickey Mouse’s magic through the ‘Happy Days Are Here Again’ campaign.

During the campaign, Volkswagen dealerships will host activities including – Mickey photo-op corner, coloring activity for kids, and assured co-branded give aways on test drives, bookings and after-sales services.

2018 marks 90 years since Mickey Mouse made his first appearance in ‘Steamboat Willie’, which released on 18thNovember 1928. Mickey has emerged into a global icon with his optimistic outlook and endearing personality, and he continues to delight fans around the world every day.
