Mumbai: Volkswagen, Europe’s leading car manufacturer today announces the start of its skill development & recognition programme – Sarvottam 2019. Through this programme, Volkswagen is investing in comprehensive measures towards training its indirect employees thereby increasing their capabilities for an enhanced customer connect and an outstanding experience.

With the automotive industry undergoing a massive transformation, to complement the increasing penetration of automation in our sales and service processes, it is imperative to train and continuously strengthen our first customer interface, which reflect values of the global Brand Volkswagen.

The Sarvottam Skill Development & Recognition is an annual programme that encompasses training of sales and service consultants at the retail level. Additionally, in a first-of-its-kind initiative, Volkswagen partners with HR leads across their 117 dealerships to congregate and exchange best HR practices that motivate, train and retain employees across the levels.

About Sarvottam Skill & Recognition Programme:

Under the Savottam skill development & recognition programme the best talent across dealerships are recognized & rewarded across 3 major categories – Royal Blue, Royal Blue Plus & Sapphire Club.

The selection is based on training, certification & preset performance parameters for the year. At the end of programme, the best performers are felicitated in a grand award ceremony in presence of Volkswagen Brand management in India.

Mumbai: Volkswagen, Europe’s leading car manufacturer is gearing up for its next wave in India (2.0) with the inauguration of a new dealership at Thane, Maharashtra. This new split facility is located at Cosmos Jewels, Ghodbunder Road, Thane West – 400615 and will offer Sales, Spares and Service. For all aspiring prospective customers looking to join the Volkswagen family, the facility also comprises of Das WeltAuto. that caters to pre-owned car buyers.

Under the able leadership of Mr. Parth Modi, Director, Mody Auto Corp Pvt. Ltd., the over 33,000sq. ft. facility comprising of showroom and workshop is equipped with a 7 cars display (including Das WeltAuto.), 26 service bays along with adequate spare stocks. The team at Volkswagen Thane is professionally equipped and trained to assist customers with the buying and servicing of Volkswagen cars, which includes the Polo, Ameo, Vento, Tiguan and Passat.
