Mumbai: Upbeat with the launch of New Polo and Vento, Volkswagen, Europe’s leading car manufacturer, today announced its monthly sales performance of 2,550 cars for September 2019. Within this, the New Polo and Vento successfully contributed to 4% of growth vis-à-vis the same period last year.

Over the years, the two products have continued to resonate with customer requirements and have been our best-selling products in our portfolio. Volkswagen’s robust product portfolio in the country is well-known for its attributes like German engineering, safety, build quality and fun-to-drive experience.

In a bid to prepare for the Volkswagen Group’s India 2.0 project, Volkswagen brand has planned to increase its current 132 sales touchpoints to 150 by end of the year 2019 and is undergoing a mega training and development program for sales and after sales teams across the network in India. comprise of Volkswagen Connect as standard in the Highline Plus and GT variants of the new Polo and Vento.
