Towing Eye

Volkswagen Passenger Cars India (A Division of SKODA AUTO Volkswagen India Pvt. Ltd.) has announced a recall action for proactive replacement of towing eye in the vehicle tool kit for Volkswagen Polo GTI, manufactured between 2016 and 2017. The Authorized Dealers of Volkswagen India will undertake proactive campaign and will perform necessary replacement free of cost. The process will take approximately 10-15 minutes.

How to find out if your car is covered under this?

The procedure is easy. Just enter your car's VIN code which is combination of 17 characters i.e. letters and numbers, in the search box. VIN code is also stamped on the car body, on a plate under the windscreen in the lower left and mentioned in the Vehicle's Registration Certificate. By pressing the "Search" button, you can simply check whether any relevant recall is pending for your vehicle.
