| 30/07/2009 I Worldwide Volkswagen Group generates Euro1.2 billion operating profit in H1 2009
- Global market share increases to 12 percent
- Automotive Division reports significantly higher net cash flow
- Net liquidity in the Automotive Division exceeds €12 billion
Wolfsburg, July 30, 2009 – In the first half of 2009, the Volkswagen Group extended its global competitive position and strengthened its financial base. In the first six months of the year, Europe’s largest automobile manufacturer delivered 3.1 million (H1 2008: 3.3 million) vehicles worldwide. Although the overall market contracted by around 18 percent, Group deliveries decreased by only 4.4 percent. Consequently, its share of the global passenger car market rose to 12.0 percent (9.9 percent). Sales revenue declined by 9.4 percent to €51.2 billion (€56.5 billion) in the first six months due to volume-related factors. Operating profit amounted to €1.2 billion (€3.4 billion), of which €928 million is attributable to the seasonally strong second quarter. The Group generated profit after tax of €494 million (€2.6 billion).

| 24/07/2009 I Worldwide Supervisory Board lays foundation for integrated automotive group Wolfsburg, July 24, 2009 – At its extraordinary meeting today, the Supervisory Board of Volkswagen Aktiengesellschaft endorsed the creation of an integrated automotive group with Porsche under the leadership of Volkswagen. The Volkswagen Board of Management will now begin talks with the newly-nominated representatives of Porsche to jointly draw up a final concept to achieve this goal. At the same time, a comprehensive auditing and assessment process will be initiated as the prerequisite for signing an agreement on the principles relating to the combination of the two companies.

Wolfsburg, July 24, 2009 – The Volkswagen Group extended its global market share in the first six months of 2009. In a difficult economic environment, Europe’s largest automaker increased its share of the world passenger car market from January to June to 12.0 (1st half year 2008: 9.9) percent.

| 09/07/2009 I India Volkswagen opens its first Group Logistics Service Facility in India Mumbai, July 9, 2009 – With a view to expand its commitment to the Indian market Volkswagen Group today has launched its first Logistics Service Facility which is provided by SkodaAuto India Private Limited at its Aurangabad plant. On the basis of a facility for Skoda spare parts the expansion to a Volkswagen Group facility for the brands Audi, Skoda and Volkswagen has been conceptualized and set up in a record period of 4 months. The total investment of this expansion is of over Rs. 13.6 Crores (2 Million Euros). |

Bangalore, June 11 2009 – Volkswagen India today announced the appointment of Volkswagen Palace Cross as its authorized dealer in Bangalore.
The announcement came at a time when the company is witnessing an upsurge in demand from across the country and its plant at Chakan, Pune is ready for manufacturing ahead of its schedule.

Wolfsburg, May 19, 2009 – The Volkswagen Group has again developed noticeably better than the global automotive market. In an overall market down by approximately 20 percent, the Group delivered 541,600 vehicles (April 2008: 568,100; -4.7 percent). “With our Group’s attractive model range we have largely been able to buck the trend and are on target with these figures,” Detlef Wittig, Executive Vice President, Group Sales and Marketing, commented in Wolfsburg on Monday. With conditions remaining difficult, the Volkswagen brand even sold more vehicles in April. Compared with the same month in 2008, the core brand delivered 339,500 passenger cars (335,100), a rise of 1.3 percent.

| 11/05/2009 I Worldwide Volkswagen agrees vehicle assembly in Indonesia Global growth strategy extended to ASEAN region
Wolfsburg / Jakarta, May 11, 2009 – Volkswagen AG is expanding its commitment in Southeast Asia as part of its 2018 growth strategy. In cooperation with the Indonesian partner company “Indomobil”, local vehicle assembly operations are to be set up as a first step towards the longterm development of ASEAN markets. An agreement on assembling Volkswagen models in the capital city of Jakarta has already been signed.

Jamir, and Prof. Dr. Jochem Heizmann, Member of the Board of Management of Volkswagen Aktiengesellschaft with responsibility for ‘Group Production’, officially opened the new Volkswagen Group’s plant in India on Tuesday in the presence of some 500 international guests. For Volkswagen, the new production facility in Pune is a major stepping stone towards achieving its ambitious growth targets on the Indian subcontinent.

| 03/03/2009 I Worldwide Volkswagen Group increases sales revenue and operating profit in 2008 Wolfsburg, March 3, 2009 – Volkswagen Aktiengesellschaft today issued an adhoc announcement on its key financial data for the 2008 fiscal year. With a 4.5 percent increase in sales revenue to EUR 113.8 billion, the Group’s operating profit rose by 3.0 percent to EUR 6.3 billion. “We met our target and surpassed our record results for 2007 even though conditions were tougher,” the Chairman of the Board of Management of Volkswagen Aktiengesellschaft, Prof. Dr. Martin Winterkorn, said in Wolfsburg on Monday.

| 16/07/2008 I India Volkswagen Unveils the Globally Successful Jetta in India Mumbai (India), July 16, 2008. Volkswagen India today announced the launch of one of the brand’s globally successful model, Jetta in India at a spectacular ceremony. The Jetta sedan which is being assembled locally at the Volkswagen Group’s Aurangabad plant will be available in India in three variants and two engines – Jetta 1.6L Petrol engine with a 5-speed manual gearbox and the exceptionally torque-strong 1.9L TDI with a strong turbo-diesel engine and the option of 5-speed manual transmission or 6-speed SG automatic transmission. The prices ex-showroom Delhi of the Jetta 1.6L Petrol Trendline is Rs 12.97 lakh and the 1.9L Diesel Trendline is Rs 14.22 lakh. | 14/07/2008 I India Volkswagen Group registers impressive sales figures in India Mumbai (India), July 14, 2008 – The Volkswagen Group, Europe’s leading automobile manufacturer registered an impressive 69 percent growth in sales in India between January to June 2008, a marked increase over projected figures. The three group brands- Audi, Skoda and Volkswagen together delivered 10,366 cars to customers in India in the last six months as against 6,131 cars sold last year in the corresponding period. In view of the robust sales, the Volkswagen Group has forecasted an annual sales figure of 20,000 cars for the period January to December 2008.

| 18/06/2007 I Worldwide Volkswagen issued with a certificate by FMTA The Member of the Board of Management of the Volkswagen Brand with responsibility for Development, Dr. Ulrich Hackenberg, was today presented with two certificates by Ekhard Zinke, President of the Federal Motor Transport Authority (KBA). These are the first such certificates to be issued by KBA and confirm that the Volkswagen Group is the first automaker worldwide to produce series vehicles which are recyclable to a minimum of 85 percent and reusable to a minimum of 95 percent by mass. |
